About

It started in 2016, in a small, ill-equipped two-car garage in Melbourne, Florida. We had a simple goal: make a cutting board worth keeping.

That first board became a way to reconnect with what we missed about home while honoring what we were experiencing along the way. Wood, food, craftsmanship, and time spent together. From that balance, Yankee South took shape.

Today, we’re back where we belong - rooted in Bow, New Hampshire, working with local hardwoods, and creating heirloom cutting boards and butcher blocks meant to be used, shared, and passed down. We believe the best pieces earn their place in the kitchen, quietly supporting everyday meals and the moments that matter most.
