We’ve always believed the work should speak for itself, and that what you build ought to leave things a little better than you found them.

We’ve recently joined the Pledge 1% movement, formalizing a commitment that’s been part of our way of doing things from the start.

Through it, we dedicate at least 1% of our time, product, and profits to the communities and landscapes that shape us.

That shows up in simple ways.

Time spent with local farms - planting in the spring, harvesting when it’s time, and helping at local markets when an extra set of hands is needed.

Supporting institutions like the Baker Free Library, a steady presence and important resource in our community.

Caring for our own small tract of land - planting trees, tending the forest, and taking a long view of what it means to be good stewards.

None of it is meant to be remarkable. But it’s intentional. And over time, we believe that’s what makes the difference.
